Shepherd among alpacas

Bolivia (Oruro department), March 2009 - San Juan village, near the Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt flat, which accounts for more than half of the planet's lithium reserves. The region survives thanks to the cultivation of Quinoa and the breeding of Alpacas. Due to the difficult environmental conditions and lack of basic services, this is one of the poorest areas in Bolivia - A shepherd.
