1931 , July , Vienna , AUSTRIA : The Austrian father of psychoanalysis SIGMUND FREUD ( Freiberg 1856 - London 1939 ) . In this photo in Vienna, in a garden in Pötzleinsdorf, in front of a bust of him sculpted by the Croatian sculptor OSCAR NEMON ( 1906 - 1985 ) on the occasion of his 75th birthday. This same photo was published on the cover of the French illustrated magazine VU on 20 July 1932. Sigmund Freud escapes from the Austrian Nazis on 4 June 1938, bound for London, via the port of Ostend (Holland). Photographer unknown (possibly the photographer and journalist Nicolas Bandy, alias Nicolas Neumann).
